Day 3
As I have mentioned in previous posts I like to eat when I am bored. I think that is a common predicament that in which many people find themselves. At night right before work or sleep, depending on the schedule I go trolling for food in the fridge, cupboards, and assorted hiding places. Tonight as I finished one day and started a new one I felt bottomless and I wanted to eat everything in the house. I knew if I am going to have any chance at making this change permanent I can’t let things blow up on day three.
So, as is my custom and my joy I started my odd day with a highlight, Mango Strawberry Spark® and a Catalyst™ Supplement. I also hunted for a healthy snack and found tomatoes fresh from our garden, and we had plenty of them as I am the only one in the family that will eat them yet we grow tons of them every year (insert expression of bewilderment). The Spark® is supposed to help with sugar cravings and be an appetite appeaser, and it did both. I escaped the house without catching any of the food for which I had previously been trolling.
Sunflower seeds again on the way to work, but this time the flavor was BIGS® Sea Salt and Black Pepper. For an extra treat and snack at work I brought and AdvoBar™. These little snack bars are very well balanced snack with 10g of protein and tons of vitamins. The best part is they taste good. I will admit there are a lot of energy/protein bars on the market that taste good but a lot of them taste good because of the sugar that the manufactures add to make them taste good.
AdvoBars only have 18g of carbs with only 2g of that being sugars. But I’m getting ahead of myself. First I drank my Herbal Cleanse Drink (yuck) and then drank my Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake. I recommend using those two products in that order for flavor and taste purposes. You don’t want the Herbal Cleanse taste to linger in your mouth for much time after it is gone.
Around 5:00am I drank a Slam® to ensure that I would make the drive home. I also ate a few more seeds. Upon arriving home I was ready for my lunch is usually breakfast, it’s weird I know, but it’s my life. I like to eat the same thing over and over so y’all may hear this meal a lot. 4 egg omelet with onions tomatoes and red bell peppers. Since I was going into my weekend I only took a nap for a few hours.
I woke up took my Catalyst before eating my dinner of Pita with chicken and artichokes. I know it sounds really weird and what is even weirder is that my wife is the one that likes the artichokes. I like them too but she is so picky. Another sad note, the kids had homemade pizzas on pita bread. I ate some of those as well. Pepperoni and cheese are defiantly not on the approved eating list. Changes like eating healthier have to be a group effort if you have a family. I don’t want to insult anyone’s willpower but you can’t do it without those around you changing as well.
